| In order to upload your Smart Printhead™ data to our server for warranty | ||||
| and reports, you will need the following equipment: | ||||
| - A computer with an open USB port and an internet connection | ||||
| - Your Smart Printhead™ | ||||
| - A USB cable Type A to Type Mini-B | ||||
| ||||
| Your Smart Printhead™ comes equipped with a USB port type "Mini-B". By | ||||
| connecting this port to an open USB port on your computer via a | ||||
| USB cable (type "A" to type "Mini-B") your Smart Printhead™ will be accessible | ||||
| as a removable drive. | ||||

| If your Smart Printhead™ is successfully connected to your PC, it will | ||||
| appear as a removable drive on your PC. This drive should contain one file | ||||
| called "DAU.DAT". To find this file, double-click "My Computer" and highlight | ||||
| any drives named "Removable Disk" to find the file. Reference the picture below | ||||
| to see an example of the printhead as a removable drive. | ||||
| NOTE: On some systems, the data file may be named "SSI.DAT". | ||||

| Once your Smart Printhead™ is connected to the PC, go to the file upload page by clicking | ||||
| the "File Upload" button at the top of the page. Follow the instructions on the page | ||||
| to supply the necessary information and to locate the data file. Click the | ||||
| "Upload File" button when finished. | ||||
| You can change the username, password, and settings for your account by clicking the | ||||
| "My DAU" button at the top of the page. Follow the instructions on the My DAU page and | ||||
| click the "Submit Changes" button when finished. | ||||
