  • What Do I Need to Upload My Smart Printhead™ Data?
  •    In order to upload your Smart Printhead™ data to our server for warranty
       and reports, you will need the following equipment:
       - A computer with an open USB port and an internet connection
       - Your Smart Printhead™
       - A USB cable Type A to Type Mini-B

  • How Do I Connect My Smart Printhead™ to My PC?
  •    Your Smart Printhead™ comes equipped with a USB port type "Mini-B". By
       connecting this port to an open USB port on your computer via a
       USB cable (type "A" to type "Mini-B") your Smart Printhead™ will be accessible
       as a removable drive.
     
     
  • How Do I Know if My Smart Printhead™ is Connected Correctly?
  •    If your Smart Printhead™ is successfully connected to your PC, it will
       appear as a removable drive on your PC. This drive should contain one file
       called "DAU.DAT". To find this file, double-click "My Computer" and highlight
       any drives named "Removable Disk" to find the file. Reference the picture below
       to see an example of the printhead as a removable drive.
       NOTE: On some systems, the data file may be named "SSI.DAT".
     
       
     
     
  • My Smart Printhead™ is Connected, Now What?
  •    Once your Smart Printhead™ is connected to the PC, go to the file upload page by clicking
       the "File Upload" button at the top of the page. Follow the instructions on the page
       to supply the necessary information and to locate the data file. Click the
       "Upload File" button when finished.
     
     
  • How Do I Change My Username, Password, and/or Settings?
  •    You can change the username, password, and settings for your account by clicking the
       "My DAU" button at the top of the page. Follow the instructions on the My DAU page and
       click the "Submit Changes" button when finished.
